3 things kinesiology practitioners bring to Spinal Flow

Kinesiologists who certify in Spinal Flow Technique become even better practitioners, ready to expand their business and healing skills.

Mashenka Barlag is a kinesiology practitioner who is now certified in Spinal Flow Technique and has been named one of the Top Ten Energy Healers by Energy Healer Magazine for the second year in a row.

“As a kinesiologist, I was looking for what’s wrong and balancing it. But there’s no end to what’s wrong if you’re looking for it,” says Mashenka. “Spinal Flow allows me to hold a really profound space where I connect the client to themselves and their inner wisdom and to expand what’s already working,” Mashenka says.

Spinal Flow Technique is a modality that connects people to the wellbeing that already exists inside, growing and expanding the ease or wellness within to transform people’s health.

Kinesiology focuses on what the Chinese call chi, or energy, to ensure the body functions well, using muscle testing or biofeedback to correct imbalances related to stress, lifestyle, nutrition, or minor injuries. Here are three skills kinesiologists have that give them a springboard into achieving more with Spinal Flow Technique

Kinesiologists already have a good working knowledge of the body’s systems

Kinesiologists usually have in-depth knowledge of the body’s tissues, anatomy, physiology, and how the body responds to different stimuli or stressors.

The science of Spinal Flow Technique is grounded in the anatomy of the spine, particularly how the 7 gateways of the spine hold spinal blockages and the 33 access points on the cranium and sacrum release them.

When kinesiologists discover the detailed science and anatomy of the spine and nervous system in the Spinal Flow Technique certification program, they are able to use the more concrete language of the nervous system and spine to describe the healing that takes place.

Kinesiologists enjoy watching people’s wellbeing and health improve

Helen was certified in kinesiology but found that learning Spinal Flow Technique gave her more knowledge to take her work to the next level.

“Kinesiology is an amazing healing modality, but I still wanted more. I wanted a way to be able to work with more people than kinesiology alone could offer,” says Helen. “I was after a modality that would complement the learning I had already undertaken and was able to tie it all together so I chose Spinal Flow Technique.”

Helen says that her daughter was born with a disability and found kinesiology was a great help, prompting her to learn more about healing.

“My daughter was able to find so much more peace and ease in her mind and body. She was able to move off medication and into a pain-free, medication-free life, it was incredible. I, in turn, became hungry for information,” Helen says.

Certifying in Spinal Flow Technique has given Helen the ability to start running healing workshops and retreats, making a positive difference to a range of people and communities.

“I am here to facilitate positive and sustainable change on a big scale,” she says.

Kinesiologists are good at building rapport – and energy – with clients

Spinal Flow Technique healing sessions are deep and profound, allowing practiced kinesiologists to take their healing intention to a new level and create long-lasting benefits for their clients.

“I love that Spinal Flow caters for young and old – babies, teens, mums, and people in wheelchairs,” says Mashenka. ”People meet me in a profound healing space.”

A Spinal Flow Technique healing session goes beyond the traditional one person for one hour model of many healing modalities like massage.

Mashenka says that when she was practicing kinesiology, cancellations would leave big gaps in the day and create financial limitations.

“Spinal Flow gives you group sessions and gives you a bigger volume of time slots. In my clinic I see three people at a time but the transformations are deeper than a one on one session,” she says.

Kinesiology is different to Spinal Flow Technique, but people skilled at kinesiology find benefits in learning the science, philosophy and touch of chiropractic-led healing modality of Spinal Flow.

Doula Makayla McIntosh is now a certified Spinal Flow Technique practitioner but has also studied kinesiology and aromatherapy.

“I was the founder and a director of quite a large company. However, going on five years ago, I had a fairly major health crisis which led me to leave the company and begin my own journey of healing,” says Makayla.

Makayla has studied kinesiology and aromatherapy mostly out of personal interest, but has also studied childbirth education and has worked as a doula. In April 2019, Makayla saw Spinal Flow, and would continue to think about different ways of studying healing.

“I saw the scholarships for Spinal Flow and applied because I felt such a connection with the modality. I also had four natural births because I believed in the body’s ability to birth a baby, like I believe in the body’s ability to heal,” she says.
